Serving Boise County since 1863, the Idaho World is a community newspaper with weekly news and information from each of the four corners of Boise County. Our County includes 4 incorporated cities: Idaho City, Horseshoe Bend, Crouch and Placerville; 3 school districts: Boise Basin, Horseshoe Bend and Garden Valley; and the distinct communities of Lowman, Centerville, Garden Valley, Clear Creek, Wilderness Ranch, and Star Ranch. 

We are the oldest continuously published newspaper in the state of Idaho.
